Her voice sounded reassured as he let go of her frail body and looked into her eyes.
“Now I’m here we are going to get out of here alive, I promise.”
Inori looked up, into his eyes as well, as he let go of her. “Yes.” - she nodded - “I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure you’re safe…!”
He held her hand and started walking.
“It’s my job to keep you safe.”
She smiled, as he held her hand. “You know I’m not the type of girl that just stands by and does nothing, don’t you?” - she stated, as she followed him.
“Hah yeah, thats true.. but still. I don’t want you to get hurt further.”

When she approached him he put his arms tightly round her.
“I have a reason to live too.. I wish we didn’t have to get caught up in this mess.”
She closed her eyes, as he put his arms around her. That warm, kind, and safe feeling… She missed that so much. “Me too…” - Inori said, tightly hugging him back. “But, you’re here… Again… And that’s all that matters…!”

“Hey Kenji! Long time, no talk.”
“Ah Tsugumi, I haven’t seen you in quite some time~”
He cracked a small smile while chewing on a straw.
“I didn’t think you had made it out of that mess..” He had a worried look on his bruised, cut face.
“Im glad you’re ok-“
She smiled; it was only for a second but, she did. Inori moved closer to him, her right hand reaching for his face, gently touching it.
“How could I not? I have a reason to live, don’t I?” - she said - “I’m really happy that you’re okay…”
When she approached him he put his arms tightly round her.

“Inori, is that you?!”
The two had been separated for quite some time due to the recent events in the city.
“Y-Yeah… It’s me…” - Inori looked down, slightly blushing. It had been so long since she had last saw him, she had even thought the worse— But, he was there, right in front of her. Finally…
